Free Stuff F.A.Q.

Nothing in life is free. How can this stuff be?

Companies large and small spend billions of dollars every year on advertising. Instead of paying for TV, newspaper, or snail mail inserts, these companies spend part of their budget on giving away samples so you can try their products right in your own home.

Will I get an increase in junk email by signing up?

Most respectable companies will not sell or rent your information. However, they may want to use your email to keep in touch with you and inform you of new products they develop. And as in life, there are always a few bad seeds. The best thing to prevent unwanted junk email in your personal address is to make a free email at a provider like Hotmail or Yahoo and use that email address to sign up for free stuff.

How long will it take to get my free stuff?

Most companies want you to receive their samples, or they are just wasting their time and advertising dollars. However, do to the large number of requests they fill, it can take 4-12 weeks to recieve your samples. Our users report a high success rate of samples arriving, but the initial waiting period can be discouraging. Please be patient. They will come.

I see other sites offering free stuff like cameras, designer jeans, and computers. Are those offers real?

The old adage "too good to be true" is a good rule of thumb to go by. Most of these freebies will require you to sign up for sponsor offers or buy something to get your freebie. Unlike Seriously Free Stuff, many sites are out for a quick buck and list many unrealistic offers to get your attention. The best thing to do is use common sense and review the terms of the offer before participating.

We hope these tips and answers help make your free stuff hunting experience the best it can be. Happy freebie hunting!
